FX-MAPSAPP is a maps application that runs inside LB-Phone and Cylex Phone, rendering Los Santos from 771 tiles across three layers: atlas, road, and satellite. The app provides live routing with distance and ETA updates, and enables players to share their location with friends for set durations without requiring friendship status.

The map uses low-resolution tiles as placeholders until detailed tiles load, preventing blank grids during panning. Street labels and points of interest fade in at their own zoom levels. Every pin represents a real world coordinate, and tapping one initiates a route that updates as the player drives. The server validates all requests, manages rate limiting, and handles all data persistence through a cached database system.
